The film is still coming.
This last semester of school has been a lot busier than I expected. I’ve been producing video content for several classes and working on the Vision Variety TV show as a media producer, director, and audio tech. I’ve also been juggling my job at WPTA 21 news and the family business. I’ve been lucky to work on the film one day a week, BUT the semester is coming to an end.
That means we can get to work on the music and ADR. Hopefully those two things should come a bit easier since we have more experience with those aspects.
Lately I have been working on the visual effects, particularly the one for the climax of the film. This has been a bit difficult because I am not very skilled in after effects, but I have slowly made my way there with tutorials and whatnot.
Here is a sneak-peak at what I’ve been up to.
***On another note, I learned this week that one of the extras in the coffee shop scene passed away. I didn’t know her personally, or even have much of conversation with her when we filmed, but she was very nice and was excited to play the role. I want to express my condolences to her friends and family though, especially those involved with the film. As I’ve written before, filmmaking is relationships.***
